Martha's Vineyard Cheesery partnered with Walder Studio to develop company branding, from logo design to secondary elements to packaging. The success of Martha's Vineyard Cheesery’s branding project led to the owner bringing Walder on to her next culinary venture, Catboat Coffee Co.

Walder Studio was entrusted to build upon the dream for Martha’s Vineyard Cheesery by developing the brand’s identity with heavy inspiration from the island. The color palette includes a nod to the green color seen on front doors and window trim around the vineyard, and the savory hues found in cheese and charcuterie. 

Walder Studio designed custom gift boxes sturdy enough to go from the store straight to the beach. As Martha’s Vineyard Cheesery expanded from an events-based business to occupying part of the Catboat Coffee Co. storefront, Walder Studio was brought in to design tabletop signage, new packaging, and display labels.

The design and development of the Martha’s Vineyard Cheesery website has evolved from a simple landing page to a fully functional site highlighting the range of services and a blog to share cheese knowledge. eCommerce capabilities are in the works, with cheese merch and gifts added in 2024.
